About the Role
We’re partnered with a locally owned, community-focused independent pharmacy in Tampa, FL, currently seeking a dedicated and patient-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join their retail pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who values building long-term relationships with patients, delivering personalized care, and working in a supportive, close-knit environment.
You'll play a key role in daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, and medication therapy management, while helping to maintain a high standard of service and compliance.
- $120,000 – $130,000 (based on experience)
- Annual performance bonus potential
- Full-time, Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays
- No nights or major holidays

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Provide exceptional patient counseling on proper medication use, side effects, and health management
- Administer immunizations and support clinical services, including MTM and point-of-care testing
- Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws, standards, and insurance requirements
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure accuracy in preparation, labeling, and documentation
- Support inventory management and ordering to maintain stock levels
- Foster strong relationships with patients, providers, and community partners
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Active Florida Pharmacist License (in good standing)
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BSPharm
- 1+ year of retail pharmacy experience preferred (new grads considered)
- Immunization certification (required)
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and patient service skills
- Comfort with independent pharmacy systems (e.g., PioneerRx or Rx30 preferred)
- Commitment to community health and personalized care
