An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced sterile compounding pharmacist with a strong 503A background to step into a high-impact Pharmacist-in-Charge role leading the launch of a brand-new sterile compounding facility in Aspen, Colorado.
This opportunity is specifically designed for a pharmacy professional who has significant hands-on experience within 503A sterile compounding and has played a major role in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, inspections, and audit readiness.
This is far more than a traditional PIC position. It offers the opportunity to build and scale a new facility from the ground up while positioning yourself for long-term executive leadership within a rapidly expanding multi-state pharmacy organization.
What You’ll Do:
• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge, overseeing regulatory compliance and daily pharmacy operations
• Lead inspections, audits, accreditation, and quality assurance initiatives
• Ensure full compliance with USP <795>/<797>/<800>, DEA, state, and federal regulations
• Oversee sterile compounding operations, staffing, training, and operational scale-up
• Build and maintain a strong culture of compliance, safety, and quality
• Support multi-state expansion and help develop future facilities
• Grow into broader executive leadership as the organization expands
Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a sterile compounding pharmacist who:
• Has deep experience within 503A sterile compounding environments
• Has been directly responsible for inspections, audits, and ongoing regulatory readiness
• Has strong quality assurance and compliance leadership experience
• Understands USP <795>, <797>, and <800> inside and out
• Can lead operational setup while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and regulatory excellence
• Wants to grow into a larger executive leadership role over time
