About the Role
We are partnered with a rapidly growing, high-volume compounding pharmacy based in Houston, TX, and they’re currently searching for a Director of Pharmacy to lead their clinical and operational pharmacy teams.
This is a senior-level leadership role for someone with strong experience in sterile and/or non-sterile compounding, regulatory compliance, and team management. You'll play a key role in scaling operations, maintaining excellence in patient safety and quality, and driving the company’s pharmacy strategy as they expand nationally.
• $220,000 – $250,000 (based on experience)
• 20% annual performance bonus
• Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all pharmacy operations, including sterile and non-sterile compounding, dispensing, and verification
• Ensure full compliance with USP <795>, <797>, <800>, DEA, FDA, and all state board requirements
• Oversee production, staffing, workflow, inventory management, and regulatory processes
• Develop and mentor pharmacy leadership, pharmacists, and technicians
• Collaborate with executive leadership to scale operations and improve efficiency
• Support audits, inspections, and licensing processes
• Partner cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs teams
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Active Texas Pharmacist License (required)
• 5+ years of pharmacy leadership experience, ideally in a compounding or specialty environment
• Proven expertise in sterile and non-sterile compounding operations
• Excellent communication, strategic planning, and team development skills
• A strong understanding of pharmacy workflows, production standards, and compliance protocols
• Experience leading in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
